About Sundown
Sundown (2000) is a short piece for string quartet, a reflection upon the often unseen and sometimes frenetic activity of nature as the sun sets at the end of the day. The piece works well as part of a larger string quartet concert program. I was honored that this piece was performed shortly after its composition as part of a composers' master class given by the great American composer William Bolcom.
